Where Disciplined Structure Meets

TRX - Cycle 01 - Enrollment Now Open!

Training begins January 16, 2026. This rotation is capped at 10 students to preserve precision, control, and coaching quality. Claim 1 of 10 spots now - once the roster is full, enrollment closes for the cycle.

A Modern Performance Martial Arts System with Purpose

TRX is a specialized martial arts performance curriculum. We do not throw moves. We build them.
By systematically blending Empty Hand Technicality, Weapons Mastery, and Controlled Tricking, we teach students how to command space. Every stance, every strike, and every rotation is executed with a clear understanding of physics and presentation.
This is where the discipline of the dojo meets the dynamic energy of the screen.

Train with Control. Perform with Purpose.

Built on the Apex Motion Philosophy

TRX teaches students how to command space, refine pathways, and move with the strong, clear presence you see in high-level performance and stunt work.

01 | Control First (Safety)

Before we add speed, we demand stability. We strip away the chaos to focus on clean mechanics and biomechanical integrity. If you cannot control the landing, you do not throw the trick.

Students learn clean basics, stable landings, and disciplined movement mechanics - the same foundations used by professional performers.

Elite performance is engineered. Our curriculum moves through calculated phases. Students master the building blocks and neural pathways required for complex movement to ensure safe and scalable growth.

Each skill builds on the last, creating consistent growth without rushing or guessing.

Technique without intention is invisible. TRX trains students to project confidence. Students practice how to show their technique - through timing, clarity, and purposeful presentation.

We refine focus, timing, expression, and the X-factor that separates a student from a champion.

02 | Structured Progression (Science)
03 | Unmistakable Presence (Art)

A System Built by a Performer Who Knows the Path

Eccaia Sampson created TRX to provide the next generation of athletes with the structured, high-level performance training that was once impossible to find.

She is not just the instructor. She is the architect of the system. As a 12x World Champion, Stunt Performer, and Action Choreographer, she teaches students not only how to move - but why clean technique matters in performance work.

She built TRX to ensure every student feels powerful, capable, and limitless in what they can become.

“Control first, always. That’s the foundation of confidence.”

~ Eccaia Sampson

A System of Total Performance

The TRX curriculum is divided into three integrated disciplines. Students develop a complete performance skillset that translates to competition, demonstration, and stage ready confidence.

01 | Empty Hand Performance

The foundation. Strong stances, clean angles, and intentional footwork. We teach the locking techniques and body alignment that generate visual power.

The extension. (Bo Staff, Kamas, Nunchaku, Katana.) Students learn logical weapon pathways and precise manipulation instead of random strikes without structure.

The dynamic. Safe takeoffs, spotted inversions, and confident landings. We replace throwing and hoping with calculated aerial mechanics.

02 | Weapons Mastery
03 | Controlled Tricking

12 Weeks of Disciplined Progression

Each TRX cycle follows the same disciplined rhythm used in performance training: clear instruction, structured practice, and checkpoints that track progress. Students learn how to build full performance pieces - step-by-step - the same way action performers train.

Phase 1: Foundations (Weeks 1 to 4)

Purpose: Build the base.
Focus: Clean technique, stance integrity, and safety protocols. If the foundation is weak, the performance will fail.
Milestone: Foundations Checkpoint and Badge.

Phase 2: Flow and Integration (Weeks 5 to 8)

Purpose: Connect the movement.
Focus: Linking techniques, increasing velocity, expanding combinations. This is where clarity meets speed.
Milestone: Flow Filming Checkpoint and Badge.

Purpose: Command the space.
Focus: Routine assembly, stage presence, and the X-factor. Turning technique into a finished performance.
Milestone: Final Showcase and Level Certification.

Phase 3: Performance Mastery (Weeks 9 to 12)

Intentional Progression. Earned Results.

TRX is not a single course. It is a progressive performance system.

Students enter the 12-week program at their assessed skill level, advancing through a clear, layered system designed for personal excellence.

Every progression is earned, never rushed. Each cycle adds new layers: sharper forms, longer combinations, elevated weapon manipulation, and the introduction of tricking dynamics appropriate to your level. As you return, the curriculum evolves - increasing velocity, complexity, and precision -turning disciplined training into measurable, competitive, performance confidence.

Beginner Level

Focus: Confidence and Clarity. Students establish the essential foundation of performance, learning to lock deep stances, master safe movement mechanics, and control the core pathways of weapon manipulation.

Focus: Flow and Speed. Students transition from static skills to fluid sequences, integrating dynamic tricking elements and refining the musical timing required for continuous, controlled performance.

Focus: Power and Polish. Students develop competitive choreography, master complex tricking dynamics, and build the unmistakable presence to command any arena - whether for competition, demonstration, or the stage.

Train Directly with a World Champion

“We don't train until we get it right. We train until we can't get it wrong.” ~ Sempai Eccaia

The Journey That Shaped the System

Sempai Eccaia’s professional journey began at age eight, when she was featured in Rolling Stone for her lead performance in KT Tunstall’s Human Being music video. Now 16, she is a 3rd Degree Black Belt, a 12-time World Champion, and one of the youngest emerging stunt professionals in the industry.

Her commitment to elite movement earned her a rare invitation to train with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team in Beijing - making her the only Canadian teen to receive this honor. She is also known for her technical precision and dynamic stage presence, specializing in nunchaku, double katana, and the 3-section staff.

Beyond her titles, Eccaia is a creator. She has written, choreographed, and headlined five original live-action productions, including three signature shows for London Comic Con. Her multidisciplinary background spans performance martial arts, action choreography, weapon artistry, dance, and podcasting, giving her a depth of experience that few instructors her age—or any age—bring to their students.

She created TRX to give students the roadmap she forged for herself: a system built on martial arts discipline, cinematic creativity, and clear, intentional progression.
